Jesse James Tintype Brooch with Documentation

This tintype was made between 1864 and 1870, during or post civil war. After his Brother Frank Joined Bill Anderson's group, a young James and his step-father where tortured for information by Union soldiers. Possibly the impetus for Jesse, because In the spring of 1864, a sixteen year old Jesse James with sharp blue eyed joined Bloody Bill Anderson's Confederate Guerrillas.
